Mayor Alix Desulme is fighting every day for the North Miami families —and the results are showing up in our parks, our budgets, our public safety, and our streets.
A small business owner and proud son of a Haitian immigrant family, Alix Desulme is a dedicated public servant who made history in 2009 as North Miami’s first Black City Clerk — and the youngest Haitian-American ever elected to that post anywhere in America. He’s served on the City Council, as Vice Mayor, and now as Mayor.
As our advocate on the City Council, Mayor Desulme has improved our city’s finances, worked to fix our flooding problems, and expanded programs to make North Miami safer and more affordable.
